Ruunaan Metsäkoti originally served as Ruunaa’s school and student dormitory. After the school was closed, the premises functioned as a home for forestry workers. Now the beautiful buildings and the charming yard in the middle of the forest have found a new life and purpose, offering visitors of Ruunaa peaceful and nature-friendly accommodation surrounded by its stunning wilderness.
